On May 9, 2022 our District Superintendent, Dr. Frank Donavan, was honored with the prestigious Tracy Gaffey Award. The award is presented to one administrator each year and is in the memory and spirit of Tracy Gaffey, long time leader in education.
We are all deeply saddened by the horrible tragedy that occurred at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas earlier this week. The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority. I want to let you know what we have done to keep our schools safe and the resources we have available to address the social-emotional well-being of our students, families and staff members.
We are in the process of greatly expanding our Expanded Learning Program options. We have afterschool and summer school programs available for many students this year. For the 2022-23 school year we will have afterschool and summer school options available for all of our students.
We are pleased to announce that our Superintendent, Dr. Frank Donavan, will be honored with the prestigious Tracy Gaffey Award. The Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) presents this Award to one administrator per year that mentors and guides other administrators and contributes significantly to public education and educational leadership.
The Magnolia School District and the City of Anaheim recognized the late Mrs. Wallace who served as a Magnolia School District Board Member from 1979 to 2020 by installing a new street sign in front of the Magnolia School District Administration Building.
