Magnolia Celebrates World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day, honored annually on October 10, was created to raise awareness of mental health issues and mobilize support to improve the mental health of people around the world. This year’s theme, “Mental Health Care for All: Let’s make it a reality” highlights the importance of equitable access to quality mental health care for all individuals, especially with the additional toll that the COVID-19 pandemic is taking on the physical and mental health in our communities.

Magnolia School District Ranks First in Orange County and Sixteenth in California

Recently, the California Reading Coalition released the California Reading Report Card and the Magnolia School District was ranked 16th in the State and 1st in Orange County for our Socio-economically Disadvantaged (SED) and Hispanic Subgroup students in 3rd Grade. Third Grade is the first year of State Testing. The scores were based on the last State Test Scores available in English Language Arts (2017-18 and 2018-19).

Magnolia Students Receive Generous Donation

Thanks to the generosity of the Rotary Club of Anaheim, Magnolia School District students received over 250 new backpacks full of school supplies. Students across the district were chosen to receive the colorful backpacks. The backpacks were filled with binders, pencils, crayons, markers and other necessary supplies for school. The Rotary Club of Anaheim members hopes that Magnolia School District students have a successful school year!
