Project HERO and Sa-Rang Church's 12th Hope Camp Empowers 50 Students with STEM and Adventures

Each year we invite 50 Magnolia School District students from the Project HERO program to participate in Hope Camp sponsored by the Sa-Rang Church. This was the 12th year of this great partnership! High school students who were in the Project HERO program when they attended Magnolia School District gave back by volunteering as group leaders. Each day students were welcomed to camp and provided breakfast prepared by volunteers and then participated in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and other fun activities. This year, students built rockets and had the opportunity to participate in a rocket launch!  They also took field trips to John's Incredible Pizza, Boomers and Skyzone.  Each student at the camp received a soccer ball, handball or basketball from Project Passback and Soul to Sole. It was another successful Hope Camp!
